Nelson Mandela May Attend Gandhi My Father Premiere

Akshaye Khanna spoke briefly to the press about his upcoming movie Gandhi My Father and is excited that none other than Nelson Mandela may grace the premiere.On His Character:"I'd say that I knew nothing about this side of Gandhiji. It was shocking for me to read this story. It's rarely that I've come across such a great piece of writing . I can say that the film has far exceeded even the writing," he admits "Playing an alcoholic wasn't difficult for me. I know of many colleagues who draw from their personal life to express similar emotions while acting. But I don't need to get drunk to play an alcoholic . That's not my style. People say that they always draw inspiration from personal life, but I try never to mix the two worlds.Harilal lived in South Africa for nine years and was Bapu's right-hand man there.He was the first Satyagrahi.
